台灣的海岸線，有著繁複多變的樣貌，大自然的鬼斧神工， 是送給台灣海岸的禮物， 讓東、 西、 南、北各顯獨特，孕育豐富的海岸生態。然而，這條交融了海與岸的線條， 也埋藏著自然與人為間的矛盾。氾濫的人工海岸令人逐漸麻痺，忘卻它曾經的美好樣貌。
若我們都曾迷戀著壯闊絢麗的景緻，那是否多放入一分疼惜，等海岸不再美麗時，才不會感到惋惜。

Taiwan’s coastline has a complex, diverse visage. Nature’s miraculous work is a gift to Taiwan, giving the eastern, western, southern, and northern coasts distinctive features and creating the home to rich coastal ecologies. However, the coastline, where the sea intermixes with the land, is ridden with contradictions between nature and humans. The excess of artificial coasts has a numbing effect, making people gradually forget the beauty of the coastline.
If we have all once been mesmerized by the magnificent coastal scenery, maybe we could all cherish the coast a little more so that we will not feel sorry for not trying harder when it is gone one day.
